I have been busy updating my website. The most time comsuming part is the photos. Writing captions, editing and putting them in albums. I started off pretty good but got lazier as I went along. I’ll have to come back and do a little bit of editing but I just wanted to get something up and running for now.
I like the Wordpress format now that I have gotten used to it. I spent an awful amount of time trying to incorporate Gallery2 and Coppermine (photo programs) to run with plugins inside of my Wordpress on my site. I just couldn’t incorporate the versions with the plugin versions as they are changing all the time and they were full of errors. So I deleted them and went with Picasa but I’m not using their web albums, my pictures are being stored on my own website.
I was a bit upset at my web host as their Fantastico auto install for these programs are a few versions behind the plugins that are out there. I tried manually installing them but it got pretty indepth and I finally cracked (up). Well, good ‘ole Picasa (a Google enterprise). But I hate giving in to Google. They seem to be governing all my stuff now days.
