I’m so impressed with my red hollyhocks this year. Red flowers usually don’t do well for me but these are just gorgeous. They are a blackish red, almost like that of the Chrysler Imperial rose.

Along my driveway I planted dahlias. But these are not just any dahlias. They were given to us by a nice lady that we met on a walk. They are already over 5 ft tall! I don’t have a picture of those yet because they aren’t in full bloom. But the blooms that are there are really vibrant.

And…my water canna lilies are doing excellent, too. The red ones just bloomed and are very striking. It’s a very red year.
