The last couple of days I haven’t gone for my walks. I did work pretty hard around the house. The window project is much bigger than I anticipated. The finish won’t dry and stays tacky because of this humidity. But like the turtle and the hare story, the turtle wins. I’ll get my windows done eventually and they will be really nice.
Last week I wasn’t very good with the treats. I had too much ice cream. I have been good this week, eating-wise, anyway. I normally have 2 plain (no bun,) lean, frozen but cooked, turkey burgers for lunch. I usually have mustard with it. They are 160 each totalling 320 calories. It turns out that really isn’t a very low-cal meal. I was checking the pantry today and found some Campbell’s Chunky Soup. I don’t know how long they have been there but the sell-by isn’t up until next year so I opened the Steak and Potato can. It stunk. I threw it out but I opened the second can which was Campbell’s Mexican Soup of some kind, I don’t remember the exact name. It had only 240 calories for the whole can. It tasted good. I think I’ll have chunky soup at meals instead of always having turkey burgers and they are almost 90 calories less per meal .
We did go out to the Texas Roadhouse tonight but I had several hundred calories to go for the day. I didn’t order too smart. I had the chicken critters appetizer. It has some fries with it. I ate just a couple of the fries and 1/2 of the critters. I used to eat a whole bunch of peanuts but passed on them. No popcorn tonight to make up for the bad choice of a dinner meal.

I know how hard it is to exercise when I’m sweating just standing there! Hopefully it will cool down soon.
