This morning while humming a tune, I turned to see so many great birds on my feeder. This was going to be a great day with the sun shining and pretty snow on the ground. I was going to run up stairs and get my camcorder but the need to eat won out. I reached for the pancake mix in the pantry cupboard and pulled it out. In doing so, an almost full bag of flour came with it. It was like slow motion. Noooooooo. It hit me in the shoulder throwing flour all over my face and shoulders and as it continued down I instinctively raised my knee up to try and catch it. It hit my knee and continued to twirl and spew out flour into every crevice of my clothing, onto the cupboards below and into the shoes lined up below in front of the mud porch door. It landed upside down on top of one of my husband’s snow boots. On top of and in every shoe lined up on the floor is a pile of white flour and my husband’s boot was filled. On the rug is a 4-inch high by 12-inch wide cone-shaped mountain of white.
After brushing the white out of my hair and face, I paused a moment staring at the mess. I proceeded to take out the pancake mix and fix me some pancakes. I’ll figure out a clean-up strategy while I enjoy the syrup.

I can’t help but giggle just a little at the image you created here … but I also feel your pain. My children decided to do something similar once - except it was with baby powder instead of flour!
