It was very chilly and very breezy Sunday afternoon at Petroleum Center, Oil Creek State Park, PA. here were more fisherman than I’ve ever seen on a late Sunday afternoon. Most everyone was catching something. The action came and went with long periods of no action throughtout the late afternoon.
I got very chilled and we left around 6 o’clock pm. On the way out we ran into a local that told us we were leaving just before the best fishing of the day. They were going to be “slurping.” We knew that but what can you do? I got too cold. Not to worry‚ we’ll be back.

Mother’s Day - I was treated to a day of fishing at Oil Creek State Park. I caught a nice brown trout and a nice rainbow. My husband caught 3 beautiful trout.

I took this video on Saturday Sept 23, 2006 at Walnut Creek and Trout Run on Lake Erie. The fishermen are already out and fishing. The next few weeks will be exciting with the real steelhead run and the fall colors!
